The United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada is an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Canadians through knowledge of the past, in particular the history of the United Empire Loyalists and their contribution to the development of Canada.
Black Loyalist Heritage Society
The Black Loyalist Heritage Society is working to establish a genealogical centre to catalog the complex genealogy of the Black Loyalists from the time of the Book of Negroes to the present day. The genealogical information on black families will be added to the base of Black Loyalist history that the society has already compiled.
The Old Loyalist Burial Grounds, St. John, New Brunswick
Saint John's original burial ground was established on this site shortly after the landing of the United Empire Loyalists in 1783. After its closure as a cemetery in 1848 the site became a memorial garden with tree lined walkways and flower beds.
